The Federal Universal Service Charge
The (FUSC) recovers costs associated with our Company’s contributions to the Federal Universal Service Fund. The FUSC is applied to services designated as interstate by the FCC and is subject to change each calendar quarter when the charge is recalculated by the FCC based on needs of the Fund.
Lifeline Program
The Lifeline Program is a federal government program that can help low-income families lower their monthly phone or Internet bills. Eligible customers can receive up to $5.25 toward their phone bill each month. Lifeline can be used for either phone or internet – but not both.
If a subscriber chooses to use the Lifeline benefit for broadband services, the discount will be $9.25 per month. Learn more including eligibility criteria and application here.
